At Polly Sailing we aim to provide a high end sailing experience aboard a modern classic. We believe Polly Agatha to be one of the most beautiful and characterful yachts on the South Coast and whether you are a Corporate charter, team building or entertaining clients, a private holiday party or an individual guest wanting to experience some traditional sailing, we want you to have a great time and to enjoy sailing in style.
At Polly Sailing we consider ourselves to be primarily cruisers rather than racers. Not that we are averse to a bit of racing (Mark particularly enjoys passage racing), but above all else we think ships, large or small, are intended to go somewhere, to take us to new places or even to old ones but in a different way. We never cease to be amazed at how a familiar port, harbour or piece of coast is seen through new eyes when approached from the sea; and how different is the arrival when made by boat; and how much more pleasure may be derived from a beer, or a glass of wine or a meal after a day’s sailing.
Our aim is to help you enjoy sailing but also to enjoy arriving and discovering new places, to explore and see the world in a different way.
We know our proposed cruising ground and our destinations well – the Channel Islands (from the bustling bars and restaurants of St. Peter Port and St Helier to the quiet anchorages of Sark), the coast and Ports of Normandy and North Brittany (from vibrant but picturesque Honfleur to the traditional harbour of Paimpol) and, of course, our home waters of Dorset. In the coming years we hope to offer our guests expeditions further afield – a summer of cruising in the Baltic, an exploration of the coast of Norway, the sun soaked western Mediterranean, to name a few.
We hope you will join us on our travels.
