The 2009 Regatta was a resounding success, with 125 entries. As well as their Resident Yarmouth One Designs, they had XODs, Dragons, Folk Boats and 6-metres, accompanied by a varied fleet of Swans, Classic Cruisers (Bermudian and gaff-rigged) and IRC boats.
This year the event will commence on Friday evening with a Taittinger Champagne reception for all entrants, with supper in the clubhouse. Throughout the weekend the club will be open for lunches and suppers with a Regatta bar and barbecue open until late on Sunday afternoon.
Saturday and Sunday will have a full programme of races catering for all classes, as well as providing less demanding courses suitable for the Classics and gaffers.
The social highlight will be a Saturday evening party, with dining and dancing until late.
We will undoubtedly have a memorable weekend, with good racing, good company and wonderful sailing weather! It will be a great family event with a warm, friendly atmosphere.
Price just £360 to include all entrance fees, fuel and mooring fees.
