Alex Day - RYA Yachtmaster Instructor and Sea School Principal

Alex Day is the principal of our associated RYA training school called Solent Sailing School of Yachting.
Alex can create a very different style of sail training with the emphasis on traditional skills and extreme comfort - ideal for anyone who does not like 'roughing it' on the normal type of training yacht.
With use of Polly Agatha to help with the traditional skills such as rope work and Gaff rig and modern plastic yachts to hone skills such as mooring and the safe use of winches, we offer so much more to our candidates and can take you far beyond just getting a ticket!
We can also do 'Own boat' tuition as well as non - RYA courses if you prefer - It is a holiday after all!!
